That was my cousin. The sound mixing was great, it had really smooth transitions. Could have used more shots in the dance scenes. But overall great film
I really like how it showed the box at the beginning and at the end, the music and lighting was great in the film. They could have used more full shots but other than that it was good!
Love the story behind the film from how not knowing how to dance to not giving up on her dream. Could have used multiple shots for the dance scenes.Great work. Good Job Steph,
The story was well conceived and impactful. The sound was great, it was fitting to the story and the character's emotions. I liked the cinematography, especially during the dance sequences.
There was some amazing use of light and shadows in this film, but I felt that it was overused and that the dancing sequences were too played out. The symbolizem of the box in the beginnning of the film really added alot to the meaning of the end. It raises the question : "Who gave her that box-was it her mom?" The choice of music, the rise and drops, and the dancing played well together.
I thought it was pretty. The music was really good and edited nicely. Although the science camp thing was a bit abrupt with the totally opposing contrast (science vs arts) and it was odd coming from the mother unless she was a doctor or something. The dancing scene had good transitions into them and the mdic played well.
The film is good in certain ways. One of them was not much dialogue, dialogue was rarely used in this film which is good. The movie is trying to say, "show and don't tell." The music and the emotions are showing you whats going on. Another thing I thought was fantastic was the effects used in certain parts of the film. There was a mirror effect used in a scene where she is practicing and she is getting dizzy. As well it looked like the effects they used when she was performing live in the movie made it look like a flash back as well her being nervous in the movie. The emotions used in the film were great, the acting was brilliant if I might say. this gets a 9/10. There were some things that were confusing but overall I liked it.
In this film I first of all think it was an a pretty good story. I think the use of shadows was great to help it give it a more emotional appeal. Also the music was well picked out to go with the mood of the overall story.
I think this film had a very good story line to it. I like how in the beginning and in the end it shows the little box with the little ballerina because it shows us that, that was the film was all about. The edits were done really nice and clean. The music went very well with the actions and it kept it suspenseful. It made me want to keep watching it.
I really liked the variation of shots throughout the film. The close ups that came in and out of focus really captured my attention. I especially loved the close up of the second ballerina once she had finished dancing. She looked very proud and strong. The light showed on her beautifully as well.

I really liked how the shots were composed. I felt that the shots went very well with the movie because the shots were very elegant and so was the film. I really liked how there was no dialogue, yet we knew what was going on throughout the entire film, she wanted to pursue a dancing career, but her mother had other plans. I also liked how she didn't need a lot of places to shot, she just really knew how to compose the shots. I also liked how it looked when the lighting came on. The light was put on a perfect direction.
